Our inaugural edition welcomed audiences from across Preston and beyond for a weekend of screenings, discussions and creative events exploring mobility, transport and urban life.

The festival presented a diverse programme of international and local films, culminating in the awards, presented to Sailors, with Stranded and Going South receiving special jury commendations.

Alongside a programme of international and local films exploring mobility, audiences enjoyed filmmaker interviews and post-screening Q&As that opened up conversations about cinema, cities and the ways we move through the world.

The festival extended beyond the screen with a programme of community events, including a poetry film workshop, a bike repair session with Preston Pedals, and a talk exploring the future of mobility. The opening night also featured an art exhibition, while the second evening brought together film and spoken word in a unique multidisciplinary event.
